Hey folks I posted these drawing earlier today, but while fiddling with my blog settings It managed to delete the post along with all the lovely comments,
so lets try this again.... on the plus side the original post didn't have foxes :

I wanted to post before I head to Vancouver for two weeks for a little R&R
here's some initial drawings for a kids book I'm starting to work on, this isn't stuff I'd show the client the drawings are waaay too rough , and as somebody pointed out earlier Yes! the turtles are definitely inspired at least in pallet by Martin Wittig's turtle line up ,and in approach/design the turtle from Cats Don't Dance (love that movie) they'll need some tweaking, but I still enjoy the drawings and I hope you do too,

SCADOO!

I know, I said no more posts for a while, but I could'nt sleep last night Why couldn't I sleep? "Scadoo" the monster that currently resides in my son's closet, this sketch is pretty much how he described Scadoo to me...Curse you Scadoo!

Big post & Interview

Here's the big post ! Things have been crazy but I wanted to post this stuff before life gets even more hectic, at the end of the month my wife and I are expecting our second child which means no sleep, and also means no posts at least until the end of August, so enjoy these drawings some of you have probably seen them on my portfolio site last week but I know a lot of you haven't .

busy busy busy!
work on Jimmy two shoes and with Penguin publishing has kept me from pretty occupied but I thought I'd post this drawing this will be one of the prints going on sale very soon!

also for those of you in the Toronto area my friend and colleague Sam Bradley with a group of super talented artist have put together an amazing collection of stories in the Anthology Project available at TCAF I'm totally getting my copy signed
