So what's new I just wrapped on Total Drama Island season 3 last week and have now officially started working on Jimmy Two Shoes which is looking to be a sweet project to pose on and some development work on a new pilot, it's also looking like I'll be illustrating another kids book for this year Penguin books after reading the manuscript I'm really excited about being involved .
that's it for now ...

Oh The store will be up and running by the end of march finally I.m pretty excited being that the drawings themselves are brand new and my personal favorites

Oh my Goache!

A few months ago,I was asked to participate in a postcard auction benefit in hopes of raising money to help build a school for orphans in Freetown, Sierra Leone(http://btorpostcards.blogspot.com/). I was happy to contribute then it sunk in that the material the artist would be working on was birch wood..which is impossible to print on or at least find a printer who will , so I had to bite the bullet and break out the gouache and do something I haven't done since first year at langara college's fine art's program 1999... paint, in the end I think it turned out o.k. and it was a lot of fun being off the cintiq, so I don't think this will be the end of me painting.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I missed out posting a Christmas drawing last year, so i was wasn't about to miss this year , Happy holidays everyone thanks for the all the great comments and emails this year, it's always greatly appreciated. Some news for the upcoming year there will be a store section opening up on the blog where prints can be purchased, there will a release date for my art book (finally!) , and possible toy announcement (ooooh!).
That's all next year for now add a couple of extra marsh mellows to your hot coco and enjoy the holidays.

Monster Deterrent

one night my son was convinced that there were monsters coming in to his room, after a couple of chats that there were "no such thing and he should go to sleep",
I decided to install a Monster security system a plush Triceratops at the foot of his bed, you see monsters are scared of triceratops on account of there pointy horns.... the logic is iron clad.
